On April 12th Kuk Sool Won of Clear Lake held a pre-qualification black belt test for our May first degree promotion candidates. The pre-test was a huge success, all of our black belt candidates did an outstanding job. We would like to extend a special thanks to all the parents who came out to show their support and assist with grading. 
May 17th, 2008 will be the next quarterly Black Belt Exam held through WKSA. Kuk Sool Won of Clear Lake is proud to announce the scheduled promotion of 18 new 1st degree black belt, 2 new 2nd degree black belts, and 1 new 4th degree black belt. With 21 new black belts promoting, this proves to be the largest single promotion our school has ever had! 
David Aue will be promoting to 4th Degree Black Belt. His new title will be Sa Bum Nim. David SBN has been training under Master Barry and Choon Ok Harmon since early 1993. To see more Click Here Alana Groneman will also be promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt. Her new title will be Sa Bum Nim. Alana PSBN has been training under Master Harmon since 1992. Her and her husban Kevin Groneman PSBN now run the Pearland KSW Dojang. David PSBN and Alana PSBN are class mates and long time training partners. 
 Cliff Miller (left) and Troy Bourgoyne (right) will are scheduled to promote to 2nd Degree Black Belt. Their new title will be Kyo Sa Nim. The following students are scheduled to promote to their 1st Degree Black Belt, their new title will be Jyo Kyo Nim:
