From El Dorado to Nasa Rd 1
Kuk Sool Won of Clear Lake adopted the section of highway from El Dorado Blvd. to Nasa Rd 1, approximately 2.2 miles.
As part of the Adopt-a-highway program, we are asked to clean the side of the roadway
four times per year. We were very excited to help our great community through this program for the first time
January 9th, 2010.
Both of our School Masters and 13 dedicated students put on their work gloves, thick jackets, and very stylish orange
reflective vest and hit the road with trash bags in hand. In all, we collected an estimated 400+ pounds of trash
and debris in approximately three and a half hours....in sub 40 degree weather.
It was a lot of work, but in the end we felt pride with a job well done, knowing we made our great city
just a little cleaner. We will have another Adopt-A-Highway cleanup in about three months, and we will need your help.
